The Aequare ramp range is a series of 3 ramps for lowfloor city buses. All 3 models have the same outer dimensions and fits into the same cutout in the busfloor. This unique feature has the big advantage that the three models are interchangeable.
- Aequare MOR is the basic model in the Aequare range. It is a Manual Operated Ramp, which is inserted into the bus floor. The total height of the cassette is only 15 mm and as such it does take up too much space underneath the bus chassis.
- Aequare MSR is a manually operated ramp with a gas spring support for an even easier operation. The casette measures only 15 mm in 70% og the total cassette length and 109 mm in the last 30%.
- Aequare EPR is the top model and is an electrical operated ramp with a high safety degree. The ramp is equipped with safety edges at all three edges of the platform and can easily be brought to stop by hand. The cassette measure only 15 mm at 70% of the total cassette length and 109 mm at the last 30%.
- The Aequare EPR is CE marked and complies with all requirements of the European machine directive 98/37/EF and the EMC directive 95/54/EF.
- All three ramps fulfills the requirements for wheelchair ramps, set up by the European Busdirective 2001/85/EF.
- An antiskid surface on the platform ensures a stable foothold in all kinds of weather conditions.
- The cassettes are made of stainless steel and the platform is made from a solid aluminium sandwich construction. As such, the ramp serie is especially suitable for the Scandinavian weather conditions.
- The Aequare EPR model can also be equipped with a heating device in the engine compartment so that the ramp will not be stuck due to frost conditions.
