Handi Solutions began under the current name in September 2007, due to a merge between the product sales division of Handi Mobil in Denmark and the product sales division of Handicare in Norway. Up untill then, the two divisions had been more or less competing for the same customers in Scandinavia, both being strong in Norway, Handi Mobil being strong in Denmark and Handicare being strong in Sweden.

By the end of 2006, Handicare purchased Handi Mobil, and all of a sudden the two product sales divisions were no longer competitors but best friends. At least, that was the intension. We quickly realised that this could only work, by making one uniform product sales division. The deicion was made to merge the two divisions, under the name of Handi Solutions, illustrating our vision of being your supplier for all sorts of different solutions in the means of passenger transportation equipment.

Now, we also decided that the headquarter should be based in Denmark, under the same VAT no. as Handi Mobil and we closed our representation office in Sweden.

Being part of Handi Mobil, which again belongs to the Handicare group, we now belong to the biggest caradaptation company in Europe, who specialises in the adaptations of vehicles for disabled people. As such, we have extensive first-hand access to all different solutions and possibilites available, as well as lots of good ideas to pass on to those of our customers who could be interested.
