Ricon Clearway is an internally installed splitlift, which can be installed in allmost all commonly used minibuses. The lift can be installed in the rear or in the side entrance.

The Clearway is based in proven technology from the Ricon S-series but differs in that the platform splits in two and leaves a free entrance. This is especially usefull if the lift is installed where there is a need for an emergency exit.

• An automatic roll-barrier at the front and the end of the platform ensures that the wheelchair cannot roll off the platform. Also, the risk of the wheelchair users feet getting stuck between the platform and the vehicle is reduced remarkably.
  
  
• A patented Sto-Loc design ensures that the lift platform is securely fixed when not in use. As such, the platform cannot tilt outwards towards the closed doors during driving. Also, rattling noise from the lift during driving is reduced to a minimum.
  
  
• A manual emergency operation function ensures that the lift can be operated safely in case of a power failure.
  
  
• The splitdesign of the Clearway lift also ensures a free view to the surrounding trafic. Dead angles is reduces remarkably.
  
  
• When installed inside the mini bus, the lift is not exposed to rain, dirt and snow.
  
  
• An antiskid platform provides an excellent friction in rain as well as in snow.
  
  
• Fixed support handles provides the wheelchair user with an optimal feeling of security during operation of the lift.
  
  

The Clearway can obviously be easily combined with the Ricon automatic dooropeners. Also, we can supply a wireless remote control device for easy operation of the lift.
