The Q'Straint QRT wheelchair and occupant restraint system is among the easiest, quickest and strongest restraint systems on the market today. QRT are available in two different versions, the QRT Deluxe and the QRT Standard.
- The QRT Deluxe is one of the quickest restraint systems available, and is at the same time one of the strongest.
- The QRT Deluxe is automatically retractable. The universal mounting hook is easily pulled out of the retractor and mounted at a fixed part of the wheelchair. The QRT Deluxe will automatically tighten the wheelchair in a secure and safe manner. The restraints can be mounted in one movement and by the use of only one hand. Thus, you will need less free space around the wheelchair.
- The QRT Standard model is a less price expensive alternative to the QRT Deluxe, and requires more manual handling.
- The QRT Standard is distinct from the QRT Deluxe in the sense that a release button needs to be activated, before the universal hook can be pulled out of the retractor housing. The release button needs to be activated once again in order to tighten the wheelchair. The wheelchair is securely tightened by twisting the handle mounted on the retractor housing.
- The QRT Deluxe is crashtestet with 20 G and a total mass of 198 kilos (120 kilo wheelchair and a 78 kilo testdummy). Hence, the QRT Deluxe exceeds the ISO 10542 standards for testing wheelchair restraintsystems.
- The QRT Standard is crashtestet according to the ISO 10542 standards.
- We can deliver both QRT versions with a static lapbelt, a static lap- and shoulderbelt or a Combo retractable lap- and shoulderbelt with height adjuster, for persons with different heights.
